History
Sold and delivered via ship in February 1937 to Haller Aviation, South Africa. It was initially shipped to Ewing & McDonald Company, c/o Ross and Hany, New Orleans, Louisiana for shipment overseas. Haller Aviation was subsequently purchased by Southern Aviation in Port Elisabeth, Which then became National Airways Corp in 1964. Presided over by Phil Smulian, founder of the Algoa Flying Club in Port Elizabeth.
The aircraft is listed as having flown in the 1937 Governor Generals Cup Air Race, Flown by R. Coppen, it placed in 18th position.
The South African Civil registry lists the aircraft as having been written off on March 14th, 1938 in Harrismith, South Africa.
