Sold new to O.J. Whitney on November 14th, 1936, who in turn sold it to customer Harry S. Cobb and W.J. Starkey.
The airplane had been slated for sale to Richard Archbold, who instead purchased N16044 (SN 133).
In August 1940 the Ryan was sold to Richmond Air Transport and Sales, Corp. They used it in the CPTP program.
In January 1944 the Wood Flying Service in Tennessee purchased it. As of August 1946 it appeared to still be owned by them.
Final disposition unknown could still exist.
