History
The airplane was sold new on November 24th, 1936 and delivered on the 25th to John H. Lyon. Mr. Lyon stated in a letter to the Ryan company that the Ryan served him well, and was responsible for garnering him more than their share of the local aviation business, and that it added prestige to the school.
About June, 1937 an ad appeared in Western Flying magazine showing the ST for sale. Records indicate that it was not sold until February, 1941 when it changed hands and was sold to the Idaho Southern Air Service. The last known owner was earl H. Hanson. The airplane was completely destroyed in a hangar fire on April 3rd, 1941, location unknown.
