Sold new February 22, 1940, delivered to the Ryan School on Lindbergh Field, San Diego, California.
Modified to PT-20A with a Kinner engine on October 4, 1940 at the Ryan plant, San Diego.
Used for military primary flight training, San Diego.
Damaged in a landing accident at Ryan Auxiliary Field on October 14,1940, due to a landing gear fork king bolt failure. On October 16, 1940 a replacement Kinner engine was installed as a result of the mishap.
Final Disposition unknown.
