It was sold new on June 24th, 1937 to William M. Joy. Mr. Joy used it for pleasure mainly. Information is sketchy but it appears that it went back to the Ryan School and carried number 9 on the side with a striped rudder.
A letter found in old CAA files, dated July 8, 1941 indicates it was still registered as of that date. No further details are known, final disposition unknown could still exist.
