Sold and delivered via ship out of New Orleans, Louisiana in April 1937 to Haller Aviation and their Wonder bloom Aerodrome, Pretoria, South Africa. Haller’s main office at the time is believed to have been in the city of Johannesburg. Issued
South African registry ZS-ALZ in July 1937. In 1940 the aircraft was taken over by the SAAF, and given the designation 1482. Serving initially at 2AS, Randfontein. All five of the Ryan’s taken over served only for a short while before becoming instructional airframes at 69AS, AFS Germiston. All were scrapped. The registration was cancelled July 30th, 1937.
Further History unknown, final disposition unknown, could still exist.
